This section is comprised of some of my most recent work. These are all background pieces written for characters run in various table top adventures. Yes. I am the Geek Queen. Some of these run a bit on the long side.
Aerel Tarew was a character made for an Earthdawn game. She started out as a warrior / journeyman and ended up all kinds of broken by the end of that campaign.
Amber Hope was for yet another Earthdawn campaign. Her background is one of my favorites. She and Aerel are actually from the same kaer. Amber was a swordmaster / nethermancer. This, I discovered, is a very disturbing combination. She once skinned a wyvern live, in the air, while riding on its back. Becuase it's EXACTLY the kind of thing a swordmaster / nethermancer would do. You know it is.
Asper was made for a hybrid Earthdawn / DnD / homebrewed setting. I've got racial notes for her under the Planet Building link. "She" started out as an engineer / weaponsmith but picked up wizardry later on.
Calm Weaver was in the same campaign as Amber Hope. He's the same Calm Weaver that shows up in Amber's background. And, YES, he was really dead but Amber was also very determined to get her husband back. What can I say? Calm is an Elementalist.
Chet. One of my all-time favorite characters to play. Also for Earthdawn. Surprise. This is where I discovered that warrior / troubadore is a BROKEN combination. Seriously over powered. There's also a short story written to tie up a few loose threads left after the end of the campaign. Chet has since migrated to Shadowrun.
Jack McBeck. Umm. Yeah. Another Earthdawn character. Jack is a blatent rip off / blend of Stargate, Quantum Leap, and McGyver. You will see this in his background. He actually started out with no classes.
Jioren was a character idea I had that I never ran.
Ketlo was made for the same hybrid Earthdawn / DnD / homebrewed setting as Asper. He also has racial notes under Planet Building. He started out as a transmuter / ranger and picked up nethermancy and cleric later on.
Tommy. Another character idea that never found a home.
I really do play other systems besides Earthdawn, I just tend not to write out detailed character backgrounds for them. I don't know why.
This section will probably be regularly updated as my table top habits are unlikely to change anytime soon.
